Hey Graham, welcome to the forum. Try the Co-op Cashminder account. You can apply in the branch or on the phone. X

Hi Graham

I too am currently with Natwest,

I applied for a coopertive account and had no probs. However we have not yet stopped paying our debts although we will not now be making full payments, therefore our credit file was still showing satisfactory.

Best of luck

J x

I would try for a co-op account but unfortunately there isn't a branch near me

You can open it over the phone and then use any post office for your banking, I've got one and I have never been to the branch as it is miles away.

I'm the same as Viki, I haven't got a Co-op close by so I use internet and telephone banking and the Post Office.

I've had better customer service from the Co-op than I ever had from a bank with a local branch.

Hi - I opened up a basic account with Lloyds TSB very quickly. You get a debit card, paying in book and have access to internet banking.

helphope, i'd check you have a debit card because I think you only get a cashcard with LTSB.
