i am with nationwide and have got a flex account which has a debit card.will i be allowed to keep this as i have just got an iva

I think your okay as long as you tell them you don't want the overdraft that goes with the account.

I can't see why you shouldn't Sue, so long as you have no debts with Nationwide which I assume you don't.

I was allowed to keep my chequebook and debit card with my Lloyds TSB account.

Just for info, Lloyds have allowed me to keep my account with them now I am BR, albeit it with a cash card rather than a debit card.

Yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, today is the present - a gift to make the most of.

i have no overdraft with this account only a debit card.i told them i didn't want an overdraft

Melanie is right Sue, as long as you dont have debts with Nationwide this shouldn't be a problem.

Should be no problem at all Sue, but as the others have said, you must make sure that you do not accept any credit products whilst in the IVA.

i have made up my mind never to have credit ever again.at least we have learned our lesson
