I've finished my iva last payment was February and sent my cc off last month my 6 years is up on the 18th of august what l wanted to know is l've got a basic cash card bank account. I would like to get a current account when's best to apply for one and who's best to go with. Thanks in advance

Make sure that your three credit files are clear before applying. Avoid HSBC and First Direct. I have heard also that NatWest can be awkward.

Thanks l wanted to know who to avoid. I'm thinking of getting my 3 credit files once the 6 years is up as it's only 5 weeks away. Carnt believe it never thought l actually get to the 6 years.
