We still have a Nationwide Account and have had it all through the IVA. No overdraft and no cheque book but full debit card.

Good PR for Nationwide and maybe another benefit of remaining a Mutual.

Thank you lesley yous have all been a great help. I like the fact l can come on here and talk and ask questions and there's always someone here to help. Plus it's nice knowing that I'm not the only one who's been in that situation.

Oh we've all been in a same/similar position. I'm glad you're finding the forum helpful. We all try to help one another and support each other. The forum has been a godsend to me through my IVA. Made lots of friends on here who now extend to off the forum too.

You ask away like you say there's always someone here.

I've been given an iPhone through work and would love to have use Apple Pay. Anyone know of a Basic IVA account that does Apple Pay?

If not. Is there a workaround. For example topping up a prepaid card?

Another plug for Nationwide: I moved to their basic acc before IVA was agreed and have found it excellent, debit card, full function on line banking, no o/d facility, a year or two ago stopped charging for refused payments, can add a deposit acc and transfer between that and current acc instantly on line, manage dds and set up and manage regular and one off direct instant payments to other people. Just sent me new contactless card. Think I will stick with them after IVA.
