I have debts of £8000 with no income of my own. Would I qualify for an IVA and if I did - would they use my husbands income as my own?

Hi Jemma and welcome to the forum. It would be very unlikely that you would be able to propose an IVA as you have a relatively low amount of debt and no income. Is your income situation likely to change in the future? If so it might be worth contacting your creditors to ask if they would accept token payments in the meantime. Also, would your husband be willing to contribute to a debt management plan?
Onwards and upwards!!!

Sound advice from Skippy. Try and get the debts paid off as soon as possible. Better to owe your husband than lenders who will continue to charge interest!
