My daughter has received a few hundreds pounds via a cheque written out to her personally from a relative's estate. I have paid the money into her account for which I am a signatory as she is under 16. I wanted to ask whether or not this money is safe i.e. I don't have to inform my IP as the cheque and the money is for her and not for me?

Hi spull,

I think your money is perfectly safe. It's not as though the money is yours and you are trying to hide it in your daughters account.

Hi go 4 broke,
Thank you for your response. I didn't even think anything of it until I started to read some of the posts on the forum. Being in an IVA makes you slightly paranoid about anything to do with money. You have put my mind at rest.
Cheers spull
