Wow
Great news and so quick.
I wonder what factors the OR uses to decides on eary discharge ?
Five months in bankruptcy or five years in an IVA ?

Usually a need to get rid of cases where there are no prospects of any asset realisations or payment orders. Personally, I do not agree with the early discharge mechanism, as this process is now far too relaxed for the consumer debtor.

Hi guys,
many thanks for your comments, but a little puzzled by melanies reply though.
although I dont have any property, I do have
three years of IPA s ahead of me, and I only
paid my first one on 1st January, but I can live with that.....its so good knowing that the
stuff i bought for Xmas was all paid for in cash, and I do not have the worry of paying credit card bills ever again.......YIPEEE
Thanks again for a great site.

PJ

It's just a personal opinion of the overall system, PJ, and not against you personally. Many members of my profession believe that HMG got certain aspects of the Enterprise Act wrong when they amended the discharge period down from 3 years to 1, but don't take my comments personally - if the system has been changed to suit you, you are entitled to enjoy those benefits.
