Hi
We as a family usually have a holiday once a year, either in England or a cheapy abroad depends what is going. Once I have established myself in my iva and learnt how to budget and STICK TO IT, I reconne I could put away for a holiday. Is this allowed??

Hi
Why would they know ?
My holiday was paid for by family, however an IVA doesn't mean that you have to report every pound that you spend. As long as you report your income and expenditure honestly you can do as you wish.

thank you andy.
Thank is one of the points that has been worrying me, is that someone (namely the IP) is going to come along and want to check all our bank accounts and statements to see what I have been spending all our money on.

So long as it does not affect their ability to maintain contributions, if my clients want to economise on other areas to pay for a modest family holiday, then I wish them well. As Andy says, everyone needs a break from routine in order to honour a five year repayment commitment.

I Use Sun Holdiays and also go camping.

A holiday can be as cheap as you want it to be, the important thing is you enjoy what ever you do

no matter how bad money gets, theirs stll alot more important things in life
