A few of the forum members who are bankrupt use the co-op cash minder account. I'm not sure of the ins and outs of it but im sure somebody will be along soon to explain.

I have the Co-op Cashminder account and I can't fault it. The account has a Visa Electron debit card and internet and telephone banking. You can apply for it either in a branch or on the telephone. If you don't have a Co-op branch near you money can be paid into the account either by post or in the Post Office.

CO-op is good but they lack branches !!! you can bank through the post office but not ideal
Nationwide have a bank account, give you an istant online desicion and designed for bankrupts. (I know a few people who now have one of these accounts whilst being undischarged)

Nationwide no longer offer accounts to undischarged bankrupts which is a shame as it's a good account. Saying that, even though they don't have many branches I think the Co-op is a better account you get a debit card.
