Hi just had a mail shot from a company called Debt Doctor - usual crap will save you money by us paying them to stop the IVA and put us through BR! (paper came in handy for the wood burner!!)

Anyway my point is the Insolvency register should not be freely available to tom or DICK to use and abuse[}:)]

Strangely enough one of my clients was offered a position with this company with a sizeable remuneration package, commission based for working with those with debt problems, he was in an iva.

Aside from letters from firms like Debt Dr. I still sometimes get letters from well-known high street financial companies with loan / credit card application forms etc. I would not really care (I have been in an IVA for nearly one year) except that some of them are still sent to me at my previous address from which I moved 18 months ago.(I told everyone I could think of at the time that I was moving). I receive them by virtue of the Royal Mail redirection service which is a very handy service. However, you can only have it for a maximum of 2 years which means that after 6 more months these items of mail will just get posted through the door at my old address. Not a good state of affairs but no way around it I guess.
