Those of you who may remember my wife received a letter from a debt collecting agency stating that they had been passed on the debt to collect.Trouble was this debt was included in our IVA some four years ago,had been concluded last year and Littlewoods paid a dividend[they also had voted yes to the IVA proposal].
After a couple of phone calls and letters we thought it had been sorted.
Today she receives a letter from Max Recovery stating that the account has been passed to them and that they will be in contact with our IP.
I bet Max recovery are glad that they purchased a settled debt !

Might be being thick...butwhat happens now -they can't touch you can they? Did Max recovery except your explanation over the phone or have you had to prove it to them?

Littlewoods and max recovery are just the worst creditors ever. My iva was approved 7th Jan and Littlewoods are still trying to pass the debt over to another company.!Which is silly as Littlewoods even voted at my creditors meeting. Im so glad that i will never have to deal with this company ever again.

You should submit a written complaint for Harassment !! If this were allowed to proceed to the FOS, Littlewoods might be a tad more circumspect with the details they pass on !
