Hi

I am applying for an Iva at the moment and am just trying to get as much advise as possible. I understand what an IVA is, but my 1st question is can i in the future still get a morgage if need be? Also What are your opinions on Baines & Ernst Ltd? Should I use these or should I look else where? I have got all the paperwork infront of me at the moment so would appreciate your response asap.

Many Thanks
Amy

Hi there amy and welcome to the forum

You will be able to get a mortgage in the figure if you have been subject to an IVA, however you may be penalised on the interest rate as a result.

So far as I am aware, Bains and Ernst do not deal with IVAs - are you using their sister company Blair Endersby perhaps? You can find feedback on all IP firms on iva.com which yo might find useful.

Hi

I am in the process of going trhough an IVA at the minute. Baines and Ernst were fantastic and really supportive... I have been passed on to Blair Endersby who so far (have only had drafting call) been great also... the feedback i was given previous to my call was that they were not great but i am more thanhappy with the service i have received.

Good Luck x
