I am trying to sort out a personal debt problem. I have a joint mortgage with my wife (she has no personal debt). Can creditors make us sell our house when chasing money.
Not simply by being a creditor but if they pursue you to the point of a CCJ then they can get a Charging Order on your interest in the property. Then they could theoretically apply for an order for sale.
How much do you owe and how many creditors have you got?
