Hi all, hope everyone had a good weekend?
I've recieved word today that the Co-op are allowing me to open a basic account with them, which is good news as when i applied last week i went into a panic as they started to ask all kinds of questions about my current bank(Nat West).Next step is to sort out my direct debits etc.I'm worried as my wages have only just gone into my Nat West account but i am still well into my overdraught. The thing is i need to get through the rest of the month so i will be going even furthur in,will this be frowned upon?I will be arranging for my wages to go into my new account as from the end of Feb and at the moment i have not missed any payments with the bank.
Also i will be contacting Melanie's team over the next few days and was wondering what to have ready and what paperwork will be required.I know bank statements will be required and wage slips, but we have a key/card meter for our gas/elec in our property and we put money on at a paypoint.I have kept the slips they give us,is this ok? Also as i've mentioned before my friend has my son after school till i finish at 5 and i give her £20 per week(she doesn't want it but i insist, as without her i couldn't work full time)is this ok??In the holidays i try to have time off ,she may have him a day or two and will still only accept £20, and my eldest has him as well.(this will stop when my eldest son finishes college in the summer). One last thing my son has £25.00 per week for travelling to college (not entitled to EMA )i give him our child benefit. Will i need to get him to keep his train/bus tickets as i doubt he has!! sorry for all the questions just want to get it right
Thanks in advance,by the way "how cold is it???"
