Hi,

I have a large amount of debt, and have put things off for so long now I don't know who I owe and how much I owe. I have a couple of CCJ's in place and one attachment of earnings order, and a second one coming soon.

I was at court a couple of weeks back and the baliff office suggested (off the record I think) that I should look at an IVA so hae been looking around the net.

I am employed full time and think that I am ok to start one but am unsure if things have gone to far,

Am I able to be saved?

Hi
Yes you can be
Contact the credit reference agencies to see who to and how much you owe.Next contact several Insolvency Practitioners to discuss your options.

There is still hope.

You will need to make a list of everyone you owe money to firstly.

Write down your essential income and expenditure (rent/mortgage, gas, water and electric) to see how much you can afford (forget about your creditor payments when doing this calculation) and if you have some money left over then there will be help for you.

I would then suggest that you visit www.iva.com and research some IP's

When you find one you feel has a good enough reputation approach them with this information and they will be able to discuss your personal circumstances more.
