I am just at the form filing stage of possibly entering an IVA.
My mortgage of 72k is with N Rock as is a secured loan (re mort)of 41k.
My unsecured debt is 49k, is it just this debt that will be for IVA or will they take into account my secured bit with N rock. As far as I was aware my mort would form part of my I/E and the unsecured debt for the IVA.
Help please

Thanks

Hi
Yes your unsecured NR debt will form part of your IVA and should be listed as an unsecured debt. The payment for the remaining secured mortgage with NR will form part of your allowed expenditure

Do you actually have an unsecured Northern Rock as well as a secured loan?

Then you do not have BR problem, as the secured loans will remain outside the IVA and of course you will need to continue to make the contractual payments to them directly.
