tanya hi, if you are not yet in an IVA and are just generally making enquiries with DFD then i would suggest speaking to 2 or 3 other companies to make sure you are being given the best possible sollution for you.
You can find a list of IPs and reviews on
www.iva.com.

Im sure they would send all your paperwork back if you decided not to proceed with them.
Melanie Giles who posts on this forum is an IP and comes very very highly recomended. She is very honest, fair and upfront.

Has a creditors meeting been set? If not, i dont see any reason why you couldnt get your paperwork back.
However, beware a lot of IPs dont like putting forward proposals where your disposable income is less that £200

Hi anfieldbabe, Melanie Giles is highly recommended on this forum. If i were going through it all again, i would defo go with her.

I agree with debbi and the other posters. Whilst I have no complaints with the IP I am with, from what I read on here Melanie and her team are held in extremely high regard on this forum. The issue may arise with debts held in other person's name, because ultimately the debt belongs to your Mum rathet than you.
Hope everything works out OK for you. [:)]
PS - I assume the anfield bit relates to Liverpool FC, if so - good choice of football team! [:D]

I would definitely recommend Melanie as well - she has had a lot of positive feedback on the forum.
I can't agree with Chris about the choice of footy team however...
Seriously, good luck, there is a solution for you, and I would say that if you're not happy with DFD look elsewhere. 5 years is a long time, and if you're not comfortable with the company from the start you will find the IVA even harder.

Cr15py - I agree with Skippy about the football team, it's got to be Chelsea all the way !!!

The only Reds worth talking about are the ones from Manchester!

Well said anfield!!! There is only one red team worth talking about full stop, and that's the one anfield mentions, where I shall be off in April thanks to my parents buying me a ticket for the match!! [:)]
