Hi, i shouldnt think it would matter to either your or your hubbys employment if neither of you have any financial duties.
Check with the terms of your employment if you are unsure but i wouldnt think you would need to inform them.

I agree with Mrs Skint. It won't matter for either of you. I wouldn't worry about it.

The terms of your mortgage may required you to advise them that you are entering into an IVA, but in reality so long as the payments are maintained and the lender are fully secured they are unlikely to make much comment.

I think it highly unlikely that your employers would wish to know, but as Mrs Skint says check your contract to put your mind at rest.

Your mortgage company is different. Albeit a secured one it is a creditor and the IP you instruct will need to send it copy of the proposal. It's for your protection too, so as to cover you in the event of Negative Equity.

Who is your mortgage company by the way?

It is a legal requirement to have a Contract of Employment! Who do you actually work for?
