Hi again, we got the forms through from the OR today, telephone meetings, hubby's tomorrow, mine thursday. The thing is they're asking us to have our statement of affairs handy when we go through the call, only I'm not sure what that is....[:I] Is it the I&E and the list of creditors and amounts owing?

The statement of affairs was part of the forms that you submitted to court when you went BR. I had a copy of all the BR forms with me to be on the safe side.

Good luck for your meetings x

A statement of affairs is similar to a balance sheet. It lists all your assets and all your liabilities. For assets with mortgages/charges you need to put them together eg
Property £150,000
Mortgage (£100,000)
Secured Loan (£20,000)
Equity £30,000

Thanks, I thought it would be that, just wanted to check to make sure. Anything else you think I should have to hand?

I had copies of all my statements and loan agreements as well, although I didn't have to refer to them.

Make sure you've got a pen and paper and a glass of water handy as well.

I was terrified before my OR interview, and while it wasn't pleasant, it wasn't really bad either if that makes sense. The examiner was polite and to the point and didn't judge me.

The best bit of advice that I was given was answer the questions honestly, if you don't have an answer say so, and don't offer any information that they don't ask for.

As skippy says the OR interview is not as bad as you think - they are doing a job at the end of the day! My examiner was lovely and they have been so so helpful with me - try not to worry
