Hi, I am about to start the process of recovering a debt but believe the person concerned may be filing an IVA or for bankruptcy. Is there a public register or a way of finding out this information before I consider whether it is worth persuing the debt? Many thanks

They will only be listed if they have entered into an IVA or bankruptcy though, this list will not include those in the process of doing so.

Every Individual who is declared insolvent either through a IVA or Bankruptcy is placed on the Insolvency Register.
