oh and it's not me before anyone thinks it may be, one my knowledge is limited and two I have to work every day which is a shame really

I have asked some questions via admin ... When I get the answers I will post them on here .... What they have said is that in all likelihood questions asked via the online chat will then be posted onto the forum with the response given

Would this not cause privacy concerns ? from what I've seen of similar live chat systems I'd expect the conversation to be private

It's obviously a work in progress and nothing is without teething problems and our feedback will make it more user friendly hopefully. I'm sure they will have looked at the legalities of such a resource.

I hope there will be an option to opt out of posting on the forum - some people might like the idea of using it but not want their concerns on the forum.

I have to say I'm not keen on live chat in any situation - it's very stilted and it's not always easy to get your point across.

I wonder how many people just use the forum to read the posts and would speak on a 1:1 basis though rather than post on an open forum.

That's true Lesley which is why I hope they can opt out of posting.
