Ah so glad fun was had and he got to pick the toy he wanted. Your relatives sounds much like my husbands side - over the years I've decided they just keep proving me right about them so it's no loss to my little one to not have much to do with them and their uncaring ways. One day they'll realise what they missed out on.
Really glad your little boy had such a great birthday and he's lucky to have parents who'll work hard to find ways to make things special for him x
