I have just seen a really funny and effective way to deal with cold calling on Dom Jolly's show. Brilliant.
He recorded a standard script with pauses etc and kept asking the advisor to repeat, go back to the beginning etc. He just left it running until the advisor gave up. I suppose you had to see it but it was good[:D][:D]

Didn't see it myself, but sounds like a really good idea - play them at their own game

That's what I thought.

This program is quite amusing. It has delivered 11 day old rubbish to the council and taken junk mail back to the people who dish it out (mainly Capital One by the way). He is stood on a rubbish tip at the mo - stopped listening though - can't type at the best of times lol.
