Yes, i still got it. Went to the dentist and was given anti-biotics and told i was being referred to have it taken out as its a wisdom tooth and he dont wanna do it coz of my MS.
Anti-biotics are not working after 3 days on them.
Last night i took seriously too many painkillers (4 different kinds) and crashed out.
Today i bought some clove oil which seems to be helping slightly but im gonna have to go back to dentist for some stronger pills before i rot my liver with the things i been taken.

Please be careful. I know the pain is unbearable but you must be careful when taking lots of painkillers.

I hope you get some relief soon. X

Can you get in the dentist tomorrow?

I hope so, I think you finally need this sorting it has dragged on for ages.

I get the odd few days every month with mine that cause me pain, but nothing on tha scale you seem to be going through.

If i cant see the dentist tomorrow my doc will give me something. They like to kill any infections fast when you have MS otherwise it can cause all kinds of problems, so either way i will get some stronger anti biotics.

As for having it pulled out, i have to wait for a letter off the hospital thats going to be doing it unfortunately but dentist did say he would ask them to be quick.

Yesterday was perhaps my own fault because i ate a mars bar.......not good with a bad tooth LOL

Not good eating a mars, but they do taste nice [;)]

I'm glad you doc will get you sorted. I know now my wisdom teeth are coming why babies scream so loud when teething. At least we understand what is happening....

mrs skint any advice u need on dentist or teeth please ask, i am a qualified nurse and have worked in dentistry for over 20yrs, plz do not take too many pain killers, and don't eat mars bars not good for your teeth lol, doctors are not good with oral problems contact your dentist if no better and get AB's off them, ask ur dentist to refer u as urgent although waiting lists tend to be very long at mo, good luck hope u feel better soon.

Thanks Kerri
I have been taking anti biotics for 3 days now and they dont seem to be doing any good. The clove oil gives relief but only for short periods and also i am taking codydromol with ibuprofen in between.

Lat night it got the better of me and i was taking anything i could get my hands on.

I have been constipated for a week because of all the pain killers.

Shoot me please LOL [:D]

Oh there is nothing worse than toothache except probably toothache at night, I do hope you're feeling a little better today? Hope you get into the dentist and get the pain relief you so obviously need.

Mrs Skint, I do feel for you! I used to put off going to the dentist until I could stand the pain no more! Always felt much better afterwards (obviously!) and wondered why I hadn't gone sooner.

I do hope they manage to fix it for you soon.
