I was a wuss LOL Had to have loads of injections and even one into the ligament so it would actually go numb. Then he just flicked it out.
Couldnt tell you if it hurts yet because the ammount of anesthetic i had i will be lucky if i can feel anything for the next week LOL

Oh Mrs S you are so brave, I am petrified of the dentist, the last filling I had, I was sedated! God knows how I'm going to afford to have any treatment under sedation whilst in IVA but there is no way I can have any done without it, not even a clean by the hygienist. What a wimp I am!

I think you are very brave Mrs S I need 10 strong men and a sledge hammer to get me to a dentist[B)][:D][:D]

I can relate to that Jan, although I go for a check up every 6 months, that part doesn't bother me.

Hope you'll be pain free x

Hi Mrs S

So pleased for you now its out and you have some relief. I had an abcess last year and had to go three times. I am so scared of the dentist and was so glad when it was all over. I hope you feel better when the stuff wears off, enjoy the chocolate, you sure deserve it.

Love

Thanks everyone. I was in agonyyyyyyyyy when the anesthetic wore off but luckily, only taken 2 ibuprofen since and it seems to be settled now.
I had that much anesthetic, i was numb all over my mouth, the whole of one side of my face and 1 ear.
Sad thing is, i dont want chocolate now i can have it. Not really much of a chocolate lover to be honest but for some reason when my tooth was bad i craved it and even ate it and made myself worse.

Not too keen on the salt water washes either [xx(][xx(][xx(]

I can recommend a bit glass of brandy - numbs that pain and lets you sleep. Get Mr Skint to get you a large one!

LOL Melanie, he'd have a long way to walk to find me some at this time of night even if i liked the stuff.
Trust me, i WILL sleep tonight and will be very lucky if i wake up before wednesday [:D]

Been a bit of a misery with it the last couple of days, that and the normal pains and increase in MS pills (which make me feel like i have had a bottle of brandy) so i have mostly kept myself to myself sulking and feling sorry for myself. Feeling a bit better now so thought i would stick around for a bit tonight [:D]
