No particular reason for this (just me being nosy!), but I was wondering what music people are listening to in the car or at home?

I go between the radio and CD in the car - at the moment the radio is on Virgin and I've got Shaggy's greatest hits in the CD player. The glove box is stuffed with CDs - Rod Stewart, Bruce Springsteen, Scooter, Gwen Stefani, Meatloaf and probably a few others!

I don't listen to music much at home, but I've got REM's Around the Sun in the CD player - brilliant album.

I love nosey [:D] I mostly listen to talksport in the house, but when I'm travelling 4hrs to Wrexham for work, I listen to...wait for it...Blondie and Abba! I have a right sing a long by myself [:I]

My fave artist is Paul Weller, seen him live and he's fab! When the grand-daughters are in the car, its hickory dickory dock!

I only ever listen to my ipod in the car, I've got the connection so it plays through the speakers. The songs I've been listening to this week are Lord of the Rings soundtrack from the two towers and Radiohead The Bends. I tend to spend a week just listening to the same songs over and over again. It really depends what mood I'm in but I never listen to the radio. I sing along really loudly too, don't care who sees me.[:I] X

Dave laughs at me as once a CD goes in the player it's in there for ages! I had a CD changer in my last car, but I think the same 6 CDs were in it for the 18 months it was in there!

I love 80s music - the Daily Mail are giving away free 80's albums so my mum is saving the tokens for me. I got my Spandau Ballet CD today and I'm looking forward to the Human League, Heaven 17 etc!

I love Bruce Springsteen, the Clash, Ian Dury, Bryan Adams - my CD collection is really varied. My favourite band though are the Pogues - Shane MacGowan is a genius!

Oops forget to mention, my hubby has been backstage with the Style Council and shared a toilet with Mr Weller.....maybe I shouldn't know that [:I] I'm sure it was innocent lol

He's also been lucky to have seen The Stone Roses play in Dudley, crowd of 24 people including the band....he tells me this all the time!

If I could see any live artist it would be..... Simon & Garfunkel..in Central Park of course! [:D]

I would love to see OMD! I really want to see the Pogues, but I don't fancy going to Brixton, and Birmingham is on a Monday, so that would mean 2 days off work. I can't really afford it either - next year, if Shane hasn't drunk himself into oblivion!

Fairytale of New York is one of the best songs ever, and not just at Christmas.
