Ouch, I have sprained the ligaments in my ankle and it blooming hurts. I actually went over on it before I went on hols but nothing was going to spoil my hols so I hobbled through the pain. Then today I went over on it again and it really, really, really hurt [:(] So spent some time in A&E and now I'm feeling sorry for myself.
Oh and just heard hubby's car will cost £1800 to fix. We haven't got that money but he cant work without it. So if I was thoroughly fed up earlier ( its on my blog), I'm totally cheesed off now. [:(]

Oh crikey Julie, it sounds painful and I mean both your ankle and the car. You need to rest up or it'll get worse. Sorry, I haven't a clue about cars apart from they are a nightmare! I'm here for you, hope you get something sorted. X

I've been so wrapped up in myself this last few days Swan, I nearly missed this thread. This has got to be one of the worst postings I've read on here in a while. I wish there was summat I could do to help. I hope something comes up to get you out of this mess.
Having a positive mental attitude is asking how something can be done rather than saying it can't be done.
Trite I know ... but it has been known to work ....
Now .... I will win the lottery ... I will win the lottery .... I will win ..... (wanders off mumbling to self)

Thanks everyone.. I will get through this I know. Hardly slept last night what with pain and worry. The car is going to cost £1800! So I blogged early hours...apologies but I have to spill it out somewhere and I'm sure I feel so low due to pressure of IVA. Honestly, I normally deal with things easily.
Ray - your post is very much appreciated and its the reason why you can't leave us. We need you Ray. [;)]xxxx

Julie, I have just caught up with this thread. So sorry to hear about your ankle. I fractured my ankle a few years ago and was in plaster for ages. It was so painful. It didn't help that I thought it was just a sprain and we were going down to London to meet American friends so hobbled round on it all day! I hope you are feeling better soon.
Sorry about your car as well, that's a lot of money and I hope you manage to get something sorted soon.
Carry on ranting as well, it's good to let off steam on here!
