Well, here we are on the downward slope to the big day. Most shops are decked out now and the villagers (except me of course) have the front of the houses a blaze of colour. Silly really cos there's hardly one of them under 70. They do it for the kids they say ... what kids ... most of their kids are grandparents now LOL. todays little groanette is by way of a warning to hubbies with a Yale lock on their wallets .....
On Christmas Eve, Wizz thought it would be nice to buy Mrs Wizz a little gift for Christmas. Always short of money, he thought long and hard about what that present might be'
Unable to decide, Wizz entered Debenhams and at the cosmetics section he asked the girl, "I'd like to see some perfume?" She showed him a bottle costing £75.
"That's a tad expensive," muttered Wizz.
The young lady returned with a smaller bottle for £50. "Oh dear,"he groaned, "still far too much."
Growing rather annoyed at Wizz's meanness, the sales girl brought out a tiny £10 bottle and offered it to him.
Wizz became really agitated, 'What I mean', he whined, 'is I'd like to see something really cheap.'
So the sales girl handed him a mirror.
Have a great day peeps ... and I hope you get sorted out soon, MTL you need this like a hole in the head at this time of year.
