As some of you are aware, David Mond is very kindly sponsoring an unofficial get together of us posters.

The venue details have now been finalised:

It will be held on Saturday 18th July 2009 at the County Hotel, Walsall.

Drinks and a buffet will be provided free of charge.

For those of you who have a distance to travel then overnight accommodation is available at a reduced price of £49.50 per night for a double room and £39.50 for a single room. Both these prices include breakfast. There is parking at the venue.

We had a good time there last November, which is why we decided to use it again. It's fairly central so should be ok for people to come from most areas.

There will be experts on hand to answer any questions you might have, but it is mostly about socialising with the friends you have made on here and finally putting faces to names!

I've already had some people let me know that they are coming - would love it if more could let me know.

I'll book mine but never have any contingency so will have to wait, no worries if they're all gone, I don't drink so will drive home or stay in a cheapo Travelodge near to the place. A huge thanks to David and to Jan for sorting this out and giving us this opportunity x

Have just had a look at the link for the hotel and it does look really lovely...however, after weighing everything up (i.e distance, plus travel and accomodation costs) OH and I have decided that in the long run it'll be better for us to attend a meeting that is a bit more closer to home.

We've got a couple of expensive months coming up, so money wise it will be more economical for us to wait until one comes up in the North - and then that way we can always travel there and back in the same evening if funds are a bit low.

So we'll have to be crossed off the list i'm afraid Jan [:(] sorry about that...but we will definitely be on for any that are coming up nearer to us in the not too distant future I hope [:D]...

There is another hotel close by if all the rooms have gone.
