I went wedding dress shopping with my daughter on Saturday.....I was typical mum of the bride and in tears when she tried on dresses. She looked absolutley gorgeous in all of them. oh to have her figure again !!!!

There were 2 we both fell in love with...although the price tags were shocking £800 - £1250 [:0] As the dress is our gift, you can imagine my heartrate was rising rapid.

Anyway daughter found one of the dresses in her size, never been worn on ebay and we just won it for under £200!!!!!!!! Absolutely thrilled.

we not going to tell anyone its from ebay.....see how long she keeps that secret [:D]

Oh....I know you lot will keep it between yourselves [;)][:)]

Thanks both......she said she wasn't going to tell anyone, but i've never known her to keep a secret in her life. so I'm sure it will be on her facebook before the morning.

I now have the job of hiding it until next October!!

Thats everything apart from the bridesmaid dresses booked and paid for(in cash) We're getting those from Debenhams but are going to wait until nearer the time because the little ones will grow so much.

Aaahhh all thats left is for me to fit into my outfit [:D]

Thanks ladyh....she would have every last penny I own if it meant giving her what she wants and deserves.

I'm just glad she's got her head screwed on when it comes to money and she was adamant she didn't want to pay the shop prices.

It must have been fate that the exact dress was on ebay this weekend.

Lesley, the bridesmaid dresses in the shop were £100, they're less than £40 in Debenhams and just as nice.

Julie I bet she looked beautiful, it's a magical moment isn't it? I can remember my daughter putting her dress on and can fill up thinking about it, younger one has her prom next year and I know she'll want a meringue so best get putting some pennies by x

Do you know I might just have a look on there for her as she can alter it if it needs altering, she's very handy! She works in a hairdresser/beauticians so know she can get her hair put up and beauty treatments for next to nothing...I just know she'll want to go over the top and won't just have anything, she likes to be that little bit different. x
