Well, I had to go to the Doctors yesterday PM after my monthly blood tests. I am unable to walk unaided again and now have one of these 4 wheeled jolly trolly's which allow me to sit down when my breathing becomes over laboured. This was when I found out my doctor is retiring; in fact, last night was his last surgery. Now I don't know about the rest of you but it takes me a long time to trust anyone, especially doctors. It's taken me 3 years to become comfortable with Dr Crawford, and now I have all this to go through again. I'm really not looking forward to the next year or so.
IN THE MEANTIME .....
'What kind of job do you do?' a lady passenger asks the man travelling in her train compartment.
'I'm a Naval surgeon,' he replies.
'Good grief!' splutters the lady, 'How you doctors specialise these days.'
Take care all xxx

Hi Wizz, sorry to hear you're unable to walk unaided again, also sorry to hear your Dr is retiring, I agree about building up a relationshiop with anyone be it Dr, Dentist or hairdresser, you have to feel comfie with them and trust them totally.
I sincerely Dr Crawford's replacement is someone you can grow to trust very soon. Remember we're all here for you and I always look forward to your posts!
