Not heard of anything wrong to do with travelodge.

They will reimburse you though if you have been charged twice.

At least you will get your money back! If there are any charges then I'd claim off Travelodge.

What a pain for you, orange. Hope they give you a discount as compensation.

I've only stayed in travelodge twice and would never stay in one again.

I agree with Jan, claim any charges from Travelodge.

I've stayed in one a couple of times and I've never had a problem - they are clean and comfortable which is all I really want from a hotel if I'm not actually on holiday. I do prefer Premier Inn though.

I didn't find any of the travelodges I stayed in clean or comfortable. I stayed in a premier inn once and that was ok.

Most of my hotel stays in the UK are work related and as I'm usually alone, I insist on a "nice" hotel..pool and spa treatments [:)]

It amazes me how payments for a service are taken instantly from your account, but refunds take a couple of days?

Orange! I've had exactly the same today and was telling my hubby about this earlier tonight! I was going in the bank tomorrow! I'll keep my eye on that!

I stay in a Travelodge for £15 or as low as £9 when I go to see my family at least once every couple of months, I think they're fine for my needs. x

Dave's son gets married next year and although we can stay at the hotel we've book a Premier Inn nearby - they're all pretty much the same and it means we won't be in the same hotel as the ex family!!!

I'm being posh next weekend for my bro's wedding and staying in the premier inn, breakfast too!

I like a Premier Inn breakfast! Saying that, it should be good for £7.50 each!

I hope you have a good time Lesley!

Gosh that's come around quick Lesley!! I'm looking forward to seeing the pics!!

I'm staying in a hotel in a few weeks time with some close friends. We're having a girly break for our birthdays and will pay £60 to stay in a 4star hotel with pool, health suite etc. Really looking forward to it.[:)]

How long ago did you book. Son booked about 6 weeks ago on his credit card should he be worried?

Has he had a statement since then? Just get him to give that a check.
