hi can anyone tell me how to stop cats pooping in my garden please.
i have tried pepper dust, scarecrows, orange and lemon peel. someone suggests a water spray but they are far to quick for me.
i have a small puppy and they still do it
i have to be careful what i put down because of my puppy
thank you

We had the same trouble once and they also buried the stuff, so we cured the problem by taking the shovel off the little blighters [:D]

[:D] Andy!

If you see the cats coming into the garden, squirt them with a water gun. They'll soon give up - other than that, I can lend you Dobby ( my doberman) no cats will enter the garden with him about [:)]

Four dogs let loose certainly does the trick! Other than that..........hubby has an air rifle!!

Our 2 cats are "allowed" in the garden, but no way would any others cats try.

We have the occasional one who tries their luck but the last time Suzie chased it (I didn't realise it was there when I loosed her out) and crashed through the fence and did a runner! Thankfully she came back (Suzie that is, not the cat!!)

Harry tends to only use his own garden!

What annoys me though is dog owners who don't clear up after their dogs. I hate having to look where I walk all the time. When I used to run along the towpath it was even worse!

I know what you mean - when I walk my dogs there is always mess in the middle of the path - wouldn't mind but it's in the middle of a nature reserve with loads of trees and off path grass where they can go.
