I'm sure we're all thinking of what to buy for Christmas, especially on a budget.
I've been snap happy with the camera this year and will be getting personalised calenders, mugs etc as little gifts.
Anyone have any ideas?

I'll have an ipad please Julie ....I wish.
I would like to get all my grandchildren to sit still together for 5 mins to take some pics as I know my Mum would be over the moon with a pic of them all. I'm going to get hubbys Mum some personalised stationery as she is forever writing letters including to us.

Buy her a money jar then and she can save for 'everything'.

ooh that's good, I use the ones my Mum got me, although they're being opened in January.
If you google gifts for under a tenner or unusual gifts for under a tenner sometimes you can find something to give you an idea. x

I'll buy my grandchildren a gift each, along with my Mum, his Mum, my brother and sister. Daughter obviously, other 3 get a token gift as I buy for the children.
They've already paid for mine so I don't expect anything else in return. x

Great idea Kazzafunk. A savings jar. You cant go wrong. Maybe the lady from work has something to save for.
Julie do you have a card factory near you. They have really good value cards from 29p. They also sell stuff like money savings jars at really cheap prices that cost a lot less than the more expensive card shops. Also if you have a wilkinsons near they do things that may be good. What about a jewellery stand. I got a lovely one for a fiver for myself last year from there. Good luck!

Thanks for the ideas - Sains have a sale on their clothing range so will go there tomorrow and there's a a designer outlet village next door so may take a look for gifts for my girls.
As for the secret santa, my colleague has a young daughter so I'm thinking of a nice picture frame that she can put in her office?

despite not being in the IVA anymore, this year we have limited everyone to £10 each as we are paying for a holiday next year for my 40th and this has been alot more expensive than we had thought due to having to go in summer holidays with my sister and her family !
The challenge will be to find something for £10 - can't believe how much everything has gone up by !
