Just back from attending my speed awareness course (£84.00). Have to say it was really good and I drove home with a bit more caution than usual x

My uncle is going to be doing one of those in a couple of weeks time. I won't tell him yours was £84 as he's paying £96!

It all depends on the force that stops you. My force is £60 as far as I am aware.

I did one 5 years ago ... it was free then ... or pay the speeding fine.

I attended one several years ago -- £60. I found it a rewarding experience (even though I have seen, first hand, the consequences). I think it ought to be part of driver training.

I never had the choice when I got zapped by a camera, luckily the points are off now and lesson learnt. x

I got caught in a bus lane three times this month...so many people drive in them I didn't realise you weren't allowed! Anyways it seems some bright spark decided to put film in the camera and now the queues are twice as long down that road - wouldn't mind if I ever saw a bus in the frigid bus lane!!

£65 each for the two I picked up within the first two weeks and £130 for one I didn't catch until nearly three weeks old. I'm pathologically bored by post so don't check regularly! That fat fine will learn me!!!

A lot of thE cameras that had no tape in have once again been put back in use but no one has been informed until it is too late !!! It's the time of year leading to the end of the financial year when budgets are getting low - an easy way to make money !!

Some London buses have cameras on the front for bus lane uses.dose it not say on the back of buses there is a £120 fine.
some bus lanes are not 24hour, look at the sign at start for times of use.
Done a speed awareness course this year, better then getting the points, as I drive for a living,
over 50% of the course had drivers that had gone over Tower Bridge at 25mph. speed over that bridge is 20mph
