It's probably due to the state of play with me right now but, have any of you been watching ? The dude with Parkinson's taking the torch, totally ruined me today, been watching since Ben Ainslie took control in Cornwall. Every time the next torch bearer takes it, I burst into tears. It's going through my home manor on Wednesday and I'm gonna be a mess. All being well, If I'm well enough, I'm there for the opening ceremony. So far though, what fantastic crowds and torch bearers. It's really humbling.

Sorry Quark but both me and Kallis are not interested in the Olympics at all. Wish we could leave the country for the entire duration.

I've booked half day on 10th July to watch the relay go through Egham.
I wasn't interested in the Olympics but now it's getting closer I'm getting more into it. Someone I work with has got tickets for the games and I'm more than a little bit jealous! When I asked Dave if he fancied trying to get tickets for the track cycling he looked at me as if I'd gone mad so I took it as a no!

Not for us at all - one of Jan's colleagues is carrying the torch but she won't be following it.
I'd love to be out of the country for the entire thing!!

My friend is carrying the torch on the 9th July and I am part of a Civic Reception on that day too at a lunch with dignitaries to celebrate ...once in a lifetime opportunity.

I'll be watching it go through my local town. Some people are selling their torches on Ebay for 150k!

I always watch the Olympics regardless of where they were held but I wish they weren't being held in this country as we can't afford it but as they are I'm going to get into the spirit!

We've just never bothered with athletics at all, don't do the Commonwealth games either.

I've always loved athletics and I also enjoy the cycling and rowing so I'll be watching that as well. The road racing is going to be held not far from where I live so I might go along and watch that as well.

Its the london games and brings nothing to me. Its cost a fortune and offers little benefit.
Local people mostly affected by the building works etc struggle to get tickets to anything, all the corporate bigwigs get the best seats for nowt.
Meh from me as far as I am concerned.

I love the olympics and even though it's costing a lot of money to hold, it will also bring a lot of money into the country too.
The Olympic Torch relay will pass the end of our street and I will be there clapping & waving - a great oppourtunity.
