Just been reading Jan's (Kallis') blog, and what an interesting read... I have stored some questions, I would like to ask when I see you Jan (about the operation, if that's ok and not too personal). Anyway, whilst reading your blog, I noticed that you generally bought a new outfit for the Frugal Friends meetings (a treat to yourself). I know this year, it is a curry/bbq theme, is there a dress code?

Kaykay - you can ask what you like!! Jan will answer anything about her op.

There is no dress code - wear what you like!! She has bought new things for FF (usually from EBay!!) I wear a T shirt and normal trousers as I'll be cooking the curry.

Thanks, will probably just be slacks and a nice top then, nothing too OTT for me. Really looking forward to meeting you both and of course the other forum members attending. I know some are staying at the same Premier Inn as I am, so we could maybe meet in the lobby prior to our taxi arriving (courtesy of Harpic). To anyone staying at the same Premier Inn (the South) once we get to know the times etc.. I would be happy to meet in the lobby beforehand if you so wish. I will probably need a drink to calm the nerves anyway.

Whatever you want to wear Kaykay - it's totally informal and there are dogs to contend with as well!!

Thanks I don't have Jan's mobile, but have her e-mail address, so will contact her nearer the time for her mobile number and what time we need to be there.

That's a done deal then. Nearer the time I will ask Jan to get me your contact details then we can be in touch. Jan has my e-mail address, so am happy for her to pass this onto you. Only 4 weeks aways now.

No problem - we will sort out contact details in the next couple of weeks - hopefully the weather will be better!!
