Having a bit of a fed up week..been off sick last week with back problems which still arent sorted. Have taken 50 strong painkillers since last monday and still feel no better!!
Forced myself into work this morning but the drive didnt help and the chair i'm sat at is making it worse too. Off back to the doctors tonight and am going to kick up a fuss..worried about being signed off though especially having last week off ill. I know I'm in pain but kinda feel like i'm milking it if i do get signed off seeing as it doesnt actually stop me working..just hurts a lot! [:(]
Sorry for the dull post..just needed to offload!

Yeah i've been having 8 every 24 hours. Tried weaning myself off them over the weekend to see how bad i still felt and it turns out quite a lot!!
Going back tonight and will demand further action!! God knows what I've done..started about 6 weeks ago when I moved house. One Doctor last week thought it was my kidneys, another then said it wasnt so god knows what tonights doctor will say!!
Hope your operation goes well Terry

Yeah they did that at first and it showed a slight infection so I was prescribed a 3 day course of antibiotics but by day 3 the pain was worse, constant and i had constant nausea too!
If i'm honest though, it doesnt feel like its my back though..the pain is more on the sides!

sounds like kindneys a bit although a pulled side mustle would feel like that as well, maybe more anti-biotics a longer course or something,i tell my doctors what pills to give me now,ive been on anti-biotics for about 2 years and i know what works for me,some tablets just dont work for some people

Being a back sufferer with 5 slipped discs I can sympathise with pain and struggling into work and trying to carry on !

I would certainly push for a scan to confirm if any discs have moved ...you may have pinched nerves causing the pain in your sides....mno medical expert but I would be asking for medical intervention.
