I'd like to again thank ouyr hosts for yesterday's annual Frugal Friends Summer do. For reasons known by those who need to, I am refraining from naming those people on the forum directly, but they know who they are.
It was a lovely evening, and Tina and I really enjoyed ourselves meeting old and new forum friends. I believe a date has been set for the Christmas do at 24 November 2012, which is due to take place in the Nottingham area. I am sure further details of this will be posted in due course.
Thanks to all who attended - it was great to see you all.

It sounds like a great party! Hopefully I'll get to the Christmas do!!!
Not sure where Nottingham is but it'll be an adventure!

It was a great evening and a big thank you to Mel once again for sponsoring it. It was great to see old friends and to make some new ones.
As soon as the venue is sorted I'll let everyone know.

Great night we were made to feel right at home straightaway, was good to meet everyone our hosts laid on a banqet fit for a king, we had a choice of curries,one in particular was a very tasty hot curry it was so flavoursome as good or better than curries sold at our local Blue Chilly takeaway. We hope another frugal friends will be planned for Christmas, i hope i can make it and look forward to meeting everyone again and new faces. Thankyou Melanie for making events like this possible.
