Those who know me know I have a mini zoo in my garden.
Came home from 2 hours voluntary work yest to find one of my sheep with it's head through the fence. Thought it had found some lush grass until I realised she was stuck. We got her out but think she was starved of oxygen and while I held her (bloddy hard work with a fully grown sheep!) she started fitting and died. So after a few tears, dusted myself down and got on with the lawn. At the same time some horse flies decided it was time to eat......me! Now I cannot straighten my arm from the swelling and my neck looks like I was out with dracula!
Now today I come home and Spunky my lamb had bloat. 2 hours later he's dead too! Man from knackers yard says as soon as lambs are born they are waiting to die! They could have waited a few weeks later to give me lamb!
