Me neither. It's nowhere near cold enough at the moment. Ours goes on as late in the year as we can manage to leave it.

And they call us southerners softies !!!!
Put the clothes on straight from the washer -- body heat will soon dry them off and, as a bonus, the creases drop out too ..... so no ironing !!!
With the fever caused by the resulting pneumonia, you don't need the heating on either .... BONUS !

I've used the tumble dryer most of the time this summer unfortunately - with a baby in the house we have to be able to dry the clothes and we've no space to put a clothes horse up.

I have two clothes horses up on the landing and use them if it's not good outside but most of the time I wash when it's a nice day and manage to dry in a few hours. I would never put the heating on this early, I have been known to have my blanket on me whilst on the sofa as I'm often cool'ish' at night.

I had it on for half an hour to take the edge off and then was overwhelmed, my husband would've freaked but luckily he was working lol!!

We haven't needed the heating on yet, but it helps we are in a middle of terrace house, so whenever my neighbours put their heating on it warms us. Saves us a fortune as we often don't put out heating on till the end of October at the earliest.

We have a clothes horse but I hate it - I can't bear seeing the clothes drying in the living room and we've got nowhere else to put it.
If it's cold later on the heating will go on - that's one think I don't skimp on no matter how broke I am!

I'm sat here in the throw from the sofa...looking like little red riding hood according to hubby!
It is cold here tonight, I was outside talking to my neighbour and got very cold. x
