Hi, I need to return to the UK soon and need to hire a car for a couple of days at Luton Airport. I have been doing some research and it seems that Enterprise will let you pay by Visa debit (mine's not Electron), but some people say that the car hire terms can vary from branch to branch. Can anyone advise please?
Only 6 months left of my IVA!!

We recently hired a car from Enterprise, whilst the rental was low we had to pay a £200 deposit, paid with visa debit and deposit retuned 48 hours after car returned to Enterprise. I would have a look on their website for the costings and to reserve the car. If you have any queries I would ring them, that way you'll get the best advice!

Thanks Karen, that's very helpful. I think I will ring them - trouble is, I don't want to ask outright if they do a credit check! They may volunteer that info though. Thanks also to Lesley for your message.

I just want to echo what Karen said-used Enterprise,paid £200 deposit refunded within 48hrs of return of car.I'm in a IVA so mustn't have been a Credit Check!
