By clicking on the drop down list in your profile and scrolling down until you find their name. Click on that and then on the add frugal friends box and the should appear on there.

thanks Orange can anyone confirm exactly how you message a frugal friend I did it once but cannot work it out since been trying for ages

Once you are both frugal friends then as far as I'm aware there is an option to send a message.

I don't think so. You have an option to message them and then when contact is established then you can swap email addresses.
I think it has been designed like this so that .nobody can send loads,of spam email.
That's my understanding anyway.
