I have one of those DIY hair clippers (cost £60) and have lost the charger. So I went onto the Philips website where I found they had a live chat line.

Went on, got a reply in less than 30 seconds and asked if I could purchase the charger separately as I had lost mine.

Advisor says they will get one of their retailers to send me one free of charge!

I am flabbergasted -- it's very rare to find such customer service these days.

May try that with some of their light bulbs!! Seriously, it just goes to show that customer service isn't dead in the water, well done Philips.
