You wait for them to meet you, Bricky I met my wife (don't laugh) on the internet -- cheapest dates I have ever had Been married 10 years in a couple of weeks time, so it does work. I might add that it wasn't internet dating and neither of us were looking for a mate.

Supermarket is a good place -- I was always being told off by my daughter for "talking to anyone" -- I always strike up conversations with my fellow check out queue members, male and female.

Just be outgoing, friendly and smile a lot.

Every one I've dated has been through becoming friends through friends & I met my husband through work!
We worked in the same place for about 2 years, but never spoke but saw each other daily, I never really took that much notice of him as he never spoke to me & just smiled a lot! We both moved up in our careers but still crossed paths daily but he still didnt speak! I went through a difficult abbusive relationship & my colleagues that are still my friends helped pull me out. I was finally free, he secretly started to ask questions about me, let me have a few months of fun & then approached me on a staff night out, we had one every month! God I miss those days!
Been together 11 years & married 5 years x

The going out "looking" lark just doesn't work, anyone I did meet back in my going out part of my life where idiots or married! Yes I'm female but it's the same for males too.
