I'm here! I haven't voted as only one of the candidates bothered putting any info through the door!

me too skippy, we have 5 candidates here (and the only reason I know is cos I did my own research online) and only received any info from one of them which came in the post today! nothing like leaving it til the last minute, as they are all affiliated with political parties and I don't agree with politicizing the police I won't be voting either

I didn't vote, which I realize isn't the democratic way --- but we have had absolutely no information and I didn't know any of the candidates from Adam. If I had voted randomly I could have helped get the wrong candidate elected. And, like you, Lem, I totally disagree with political affiliations.

I completely agree - the police have a hard enough time without more political involvement!

When my voting card arrived there was something about finding candidates online and that seems completely wrong as it excludes many people who don't have internet access. Despite what successive governments want, people like my 81 year old mother and 93 year old mother in law don't want the internet!

I refused to vote on principle as I only had info about one candidate and therefore couldn't make an informed decision. It's not down to me to find out the information - if someone wants my vote it's down to them to make sure I know what they stand for!
