Good morning guys

Need to pick your brains and would like your opinion pretty please.

I am at a point in my life that I need to do something about my career and future. I work for the NHS and I enjoy what I do and I am proud to say that I work for them... considering all this, I am tempted to do a certificate in higher education - Health sciences, with a view to persue a career either in biomedical sciences or medicine.

Are we allowed to apply for study governament loans while in an IVA? The course I will be doing is via the OU and it costs £5000... only way I can afford it is with student loans (if they say yes, may not happen as I already have a degree...)

And am I aiming too high? I know I have the brains (I think!!) and I def have the motivation... but I dont know if I should stay where I am, or I should aim higher?

Any and all comments will be most welcome! [:)]

Hi Miak. I can't comment on the loan front -- but I would say, if you have a chance ( and you obviously have the motivation and ability) then go for it!
