I love this forum and would be interested to know if there is anyone in the south east area where we could then arrange a frugal friends meeting as it would be good to get to meet others nearer to where I live. I have been to the meetings before but they are always quite a drive away. I am in Kent. Anyone interested in meeting up it would be great to hear from you

Some of us wouldn't mind travelling Rich so it's good to have them in a variety of areas to accommodate all. Luluj is hosting the July event maybe the Christmas one could be in your area?

Rich are you coming in July to mine in Dunstable/Bedfordshire ? Kent isn't too far away ! Great idea for the xmas one to be near you...I would travel as I know others would too.

I need to book the day off work still can you please remind me of the date . Yes I am keen to organise something for Christmas. As fairly new to the forum I just wonder whether I would get the interest that you and others have done when organising these things. Perhaps I will speak to Mel and Andy to see if they would help me with the costs of food etc x

There is generally a sponsor for the functions Rich. It's good to vary the location and we've only ever had a handful of people at the ones I've attended but nonetheless it's always been a really good evening.
