There has been a lot in the press about the teenage boy who purchased over £100 of shopping for about £1 through extreme couponing. I don't think I've the time or the intellect to go to such extremes, but it's made me think that I have to spend more time shopping around and using Poundland,Aldi and such more!

Yes I was readin about that too on my break at work yesterday. I think it works better in America as they seem to have much better coupons than us!, but I already do the shopping around anyway, I never purchase just from one store and check for good offers (not just Tescos Bogof on junk that they do which in my mind is never a good offer anyway)

It can be tiresome but I do shop all over for bargains. Yesterday for instance, I visited Sainsbury, Lidl, Morrisons, B&Q and Homebase. I could potentially have got that all in one shop but to save a few pennies I didn't. The cost of fuel was definitely worth the travelling (Morrisons being the only one out of town).

Somebody had a price comparison app on their phone in one of the programs so knew whether what he was paying was a bargain or not. That would be handy.

Morrisons do their £10 off when you collect so many coupons (3 I think). It all adds up and is worth knowing about. x
