I'm sure those of you who know me by FB know that this weekend I am going to see Meat Loaf, not to the taste of everyone but lets me relive my youth!

My daughter is running the Manchester 10k in memory of my dear brother who sadly died the first year I was in my IVA. He died far too young at 46 from a diabetes related illness. Thank you to each and every one of my forum friends who sponsored her. She has raised an amazing figure of £224.00 for Diabetes UK. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

I'm signing off at lunchtime today until Monday evening and sincerely hope that you all have a lovely bank holiday weekend.

I hope you enjoyed the concert Lesley ....... and remembered the tickets.

We saw him about 3-4 years ago at Castle Howard, drove around 30 mins or so, then remembered the tickets were still on the matle piece and had to turn around and rush back to get them. Going to see Bon Jovi in a coule of weeks time.

Hope you had a good time Lesley. I saw Meatloaf in Birmingham last month and, although his voice isn't as good as it was, he was still brilliant.

I'm going to see Bruce Springsteen in a couple of weeks and I can't wait for that.

I had a wonderful time. I really enjoyed it and so did my daughter. She also managed her run but in a really poor time for her and although she's disappointed with her time, she's raised in excess of £250 for Diabetes UK. The weather was baking hot and in all her training she'd never ran in that heat. Power to her though as I know I couldn't have done it and although I was there and admired others for doing it, it's not something I'll be joining next year although she's determined to do it again and in a much quicker time.

Hope you enjoy Bon Jovi and Bruce Springsteen for those going soon. Dare I say it's Robbie next for me. Yeah I know but I honestly can't help it!

I got Mrs H Caro Emerald tickets for her birthday, but must admit the sell on value is very tempting[}:)]

So glad you had a fab weekend and H did really well and she has no reason to be disappointed...I can't even run 1K so to run 10K is a massive achievement!

I have signed up to the Race for Life on June 23 and will be doing this with a friend - I have so many memories of so many people who have died of this tragic illness it is heart breaking .... determined to finish the course despite my back playing up again at the minute with constant pins and needles in my left leg - won't let anyone down !

Enjoy Robbie Lesley - look forward to hearing all about him in July when we meet up x
